Sharq Taronalari — Central Asia's Largest Music Festival
Sharq Taronalari ("Melodies of the East") is an international music festival held biennially at the legendary Registan Square in Samarkand. The stage sits between three 15th-17th century madrasahs, and audiences enjoy open-air concerts against a backdrop of thousand-year-old architecture. Performers from 50+ countries bring traditional instruments: dutar, rubab, sitar, oud, kora.
